Yin Yoga for Wholeness
Yin Yoga for Wholeness
7pm-815pm
Service Description
Yin Yoga awakens our body and mind to the energy we already carry within. Rooted in Chinese Taoist philosophy, Yin Yoga invites us to be in harmony with our own nature. A slow-paced practice, Yin restores us to a state of wellness and wholeness. Postures are held from two to four minutes, followed by a transitional counterpose. Flexibility and strength are cultivated as you embody the essence and spirit of the pose. By holding certain poses that reflect our connection with nature and the universal life force (chi or prana) around us, we will develop a deeper attunement of our body and self, improve mobility and range of motion, and bring us back to our inner strength and power. This is open to all levels and experiences. Modifications will be made as we find the posture in our body.
